Secret Obsession Armed with a few remnant shards brick-red, scarlet, lemon-yellow - dog-eared pages from Abbott's book for identification purposes lured by promises of radial ribs, water-filled nodes lying beached in white sand where moon light catches between rocky points, I capture you on the Yucatan Peninsula. Lyropecten nodosus Linne - A shiver travels up my arm as I touch you. The motion of lifting my arm makes my heart beat faster and causes my mouth to water. If I took the time to think about what I was doing, I'd be embarrassed. Thankfully, I consider it not. The smell brings tears to my eyes and joy to my heart, memories of wonderful times and feelings of contentment. My body quivering I touch you with my tongue. Senses overloading, unresisting, I slowly engulf you. Crumbling as you send waves of pleasure through me, the secret becomes me. My focus, my life. My obsession. No other can take your place. No other can satisfy me. No other can nor will ever replace what I feel for... I am spellbound beneath a Lion's Paw, that most spectacular of scallops. "I am not now that which I have been." |
