See…
The blue does lie
On sky’s couch in
Just as comely a way
As the black,
Which graces evening.

She does not
Walk the shadowed streets
Enticing all who wish to
Hide from eyes
The ways they take
Their pleasure and pain

But she does
With quiet seduction
Bring senses to arousal
And illuminate the wounds
So that dressed they may be

She is no less
The temptress than black
When against her skin she
Wears diaphanous lace
Of cloud which in veiled
Dance she removes
Exposing all

I will today,
Make love in her light
And with eyes open
See what I have only
Felt in darkness

BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!! WOW, I remember you from the former Papa's Poetry Circle, welcome to Passions, dear friend! Do you remember me?

Wonderful debut poem, I enjoyed the voice and spirit you put into it, describing how such darkness can be replaced in love, enlightening the heart. I love it!!! Love is the joy of all life, and it is what heals us from sorrow. May true love forever flourish in your heart! (smiles) You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Well written and sensual to the core.
