Such is the stuff of beauty
That repairs the tear in my soul
And puts me together
Pieces become whole
Through the stormy weather

I am in need of consolation
Restless yet forever in debt
Because of the desolation
And the sun making me wet

Such is the stuff of beauty
That is a twin within my heart
And I question why,
Why I always fall just short
In your red and watery eye

I am in need of adulation
For I’ve come to find
That true love has no stipulation
When you’re of the same mind

That is more cherished by me
Such is the stuff of beauty
