The Dark Sings Out sometimes I see the moon in day soft edges to it's white blending into clouds and blue so different from the night at times like that, imagine I what thoughts are in your mind and just today I saw that moon and wondered as I pined most times I see the moon at night so still blue-black, the sky surrounded by the twinkling lights a face that's seen by eye take with me these visions to dream to shine and lend me their glow to brighten the dark that is in my mind to allow my dreams to flow last month I saw the moon, just once a sliver of orange unique hanging in midair so low ran out took another peek so thrilled was I, at the beauty of the sky, the stars and moon and thoughts of dreams that lay ahead as the night sang out it's tune take with me thoughts of warmth and sweet of arms that hold me tight of lips to touch, caress me where the dark sings out tonight ~Wynter/Maureen/Moonchild "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |
