This is the Time When breezes are calmer and grasses turn green When visions appear of the tulip unseen And your heart has a melody ready to sing This is the time for the coming of spring When shoots unexpectedly rise through the soil That cold icy winter left dormant, unspoiled You know in your heart the impossible’s true That something this wonderful's coming to you When branches are ready to burst into pink Forsythias yellow is just on the brink And love becomes life’s most desirable thing Await for the miracle changes will bring When red breasted robin has perched on a limb Awaiting the moment to follow a whim With eye on a small bit of dangling string This is the time for the coming of spring Let yellow forsythia burst into bloom Let fresh springtime fragrance come into the room Allow your heart open for love to come in For this is the moment for solace within The spring changes colors from muted to bright The reds and the purples and blues of delight And love changes everything turning to green To visions of splendor that’s never been seen Awaken to music the meadow larks sing For this is the time for the coming of spring Elizabeth Santos [This message has been edited by Elizabeth Santos (edited 04-05-2001).] |

What a spring picture you have presented us with this morning. Thank you! "You know in your heart the impossible’s true That something this wonderful's coming to you" How true, how true. |

This is nicely done, Elizabeth. Hurry Spring. Panne. P.S. We don't seem to get Spring in TX - it goes from Winter- if we are lucky enough to get one - right to hot, humid, can't stay outside Summer. |

And love becomes life’s most desirable thing But that's all the time, not just spring! *G* Seriously... this is beautiful... I like it very much! (Another curtsey to your excellence, Ms. Santos! *S*) |

Yes I am waiting, any day now, if the warmer weather would stay around...the springtime will slip into it's beautiful gown of colours to sigh us into summer... thank you for such a beautiful read ~Wynter/Maureen "The worst prison would be a closed heart". |
