Once upon a summer's evening Stood a girl beneath the stars Watching, waiting for her angel Would he ever come this far? Once upon a summer's evening Played a boy in stellar dreams Fires in heaven, quietly raging Like hushed fires within, it seemed Once upon a summer's evening They shared wanting moments there Now where's that angel? Where's that fire? Where's that love sought in their prayers? |
