As I take the sheets, off the bed. Memories, of last night they bring. Two lovers, you and me, in perpetual ecstasy. Flowing in a river of lust, knowing that above all, not too many, love like us. The darkness guided us, the kisses led us, to our own solitary world. Nothing disrupted us, while we breathe each other's air. Passionately, we gave each other the sweet essence of our beings. Spreading it, right into the sheets. Evenly, I fold the clean sheets. On them there is no trace, of you and me. A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Honest. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

not too many, love like us To know this intensity of emotion and then to see it simply 'wash' away...is a pain almost unbearable. And the 'almost' is still up for discussion. Your words are exact in this. Speak when you are angry--and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret...Laurence J. Peter [This message has been edited by JLR (edited 04-03-2001).] |

OMG what can I say? I can't say what this makes me feel! It's fabulous, though. Kathleen Blake |

Nicely done. I detect a hint of sadness at the end though. Wow. Makes you think. All writing comes |
