I looked back at the clock again his eyes told me he had little time thready, uneven, but still beating He looked sideways at his wife chest wide open, trauma team rolling but her chance was lost by an unworn belt His daughter had no bumps, no bruises her toddler seat had done it's job but she was losing everything she knew A real man |

In another life I was a trauma room paramedic and this was my third night working there so the event stuck. There are many others of which I want to write in time. |
