The waves rush in with vigorous motion,
busily making enchanting white caps.
The breeze is soft and cool,
blowing her long silky hair.
Silently she sits and ponders,
about the wonders of the world.
The complexities made from simple things;
the tears that fall and streak her face,
as the heart hurts, with no relief.
The ultimate betrayal that plagues her soul;
yet, she has hope to find the light.
The tranquil sound of the ocean,
soothes and washes away the hurt.
She smiles, she will be alright.

OMG, this sounds so much like me. The ocean, the hurt. (though I'm not hurting now, but I've been there)

This one really hit home, a pleasure to read.

Red, you are so right on...the sound of the ocean can make anything feel alright...the lapping of the waves, especially in the darkness, is hypnotic in it's cadence and soothes the fiercest soul....very nicely said..
