The Wedding Reception...(not for the faint of heart) |

A careless cherub fell in the punch bowl nearly drowning himself in tropical fruit and vodka. Upon extricating himself from the frigid slush (with help from no one, mind you) he folded his arms and fervidly danced around the room like a mad russian in heat. His face burned bulbously red as he laughed and danced on table and chair throwing back his head spewing pineapple chunks across the crowded room 'til I put the little b****** down with one of his own friggin' arrows. Nothing displeases me more than a drunken cherub at a wedding reception. (The pineapples weren't bad tho') "HEY, DON'T THROW THAT AWAY, I MIGHT NEED IT SOMEDAY!!!" delightful read which reminded me a lot of my wedding only i couldn't catch the darned fake by his halo which was awkwardly askew hanging over his eyes, as was mine, blinding me... he was way too quick and what really pissed me off is that he seemed to know in advance it was all a joke.... flowers down the trail smashed and smeared by feet thinking they were moving forward down an aisle to some kind of bliss which was all in our minds.... punch bowl, indeed.... i wish i caught the sucker.... i woulda punched him out before the ring went on my finger... but in retrospect, that's how i got hooked on the vodka to begin with... thanks for the read. peace. |
