Refresh Me There were tears within the summer rains of youth. So pleased I was to see them concealed in heaven's moisture, that none would know them. Too many storms would cross the days of truth, as thunder boiled, snarled, threatened. Cracked and chipped, I am a vase of many words. A flower in need of water and what is left, grown stagnant. Summer rains, return and freshen what is me. Though petals fallen, still left are buds that long to blossom. Proust- |

Very simply: this took my breath away. Such wonderful imagery. Such excellent writing. "I am not now that which I have been." |

This is superb. It is beginning a message of the heart in me. I must escape just now, and allow it to unfold. The heart of your muse, in me, has taken hold. |

Michael~ This is heartbreakingly stunning. 'Though petals fallen, still left are buds that long to blossom.' ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Hauntingly beautiful. Nice imagery and writing. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
