Recipe for Disaster Gather together a quorum of women A bevy of beauties with hollowed out souls Let jealousy rampant remain in their clutches And cause them to fall in lust with your whole Give them permission to play just like children To fight and to scratch to winnow the crowd Give them acceptance without any wisdom In offering to silence, let them shout out loud Add in some men of exceptional talent Men who can write, to bring tears to your eyes Men who paint love with the brush of desire Who leave women weeping and moaning with sighs. Take personalities some strong and some rare Add in some malice the mixture to thicken Place close together in poetry's oven Then add in the yeast of gossip to quicken Mix well together the envy and hurting Add in some romance as seen from their eyes Give heat to passion, with deception growing And there you have it … disaster surprise. Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

sounds like life to me..... hmmmm..... live a little, write a little, romance a little, get hurt a little, then do it all over again.... people only get surprised when they think of the net as something other than life, then realize it is just a microcosm of it only a little harder to handle because you can't see through the box, y'know? but life goes on in and out of the box and today, i'm out of it..... time to clean my garden, get ready for planting.... thanks for the read....  |

I think the facelessness of the internet makes it even harder. Kethry dear heart no where near as good as yours love but then you know I'm not working at full capacity. (Yes i know it's rubbish but I have to have some excuse for inferior work don't I?) Take care love and warm stuff as always Slushy And dear heart, those pesky docs have clipped my wings otherwise I'd be singeing the lot of them. (Retribution will eventually be mine love) Recipe Of Romance To make a dream romance you need some heart Fill it with desire and make it of your soul a part You next need trust to lift it high to make it rise Then mix in some truth and care add a few sighs Give it room to breathe and then watch it grow With time this dream romance will surely flow To make a dream love you need to hold on tight Fill it with dreams to aid it in its maiden flight You should mix in some hope and a tender kiss Then add in joy and a measure of delighted bliss Give it some space in which it can be truly free With time this dream love will bloom constantly To make a dream blossom you need some desire Fill it with heat and watch the flames leap higher You’ll need the sound of sultry seduction’s voice Then mix it with love or lust you have a choice Give it awhile to reach its best time to flower With time this dream brings to you loves’ power Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 04-02-2001).] |
