Corners Shadows Always lie in wait The trap doors Always seem to glisten And pulsate from beneath their shrouds. The shrouds I carelessly tossed on the floor, While nude and free my thoughts were without boundaries again. Living, loving, then.. Unfocused I must have stumbled and fell And now I just want to fall And hitting bottom isn't such an unwelcome thing Because after the fall And the impact There isn't much for story content Except the revisiting of the darkness And the pain The tears And dried lifegiving liquid We're sorry..this heart has been d-i-s-c-o-n-n-e-c-t-e-d.
