Cascading waters that float over time and space Cleansing my heart and soul with freedom and grace Filling me with the essence of devotion and affection Covering me with strength and quiet protection ~*~ The mystery of it’s transformation The silent yet deafening proclamation It astounds and delights me to the core The sensation of it’s essence fills every pore ~*~ It’s touch runs over my flesh and into my soul Leaving me quenched...fulfilled and whole Seeping into endings...that begged for a chance Of life, laughter and that once forgotten last dance ~*~ The journey was true and never misguided My hunger for completeness at last requited Like absolution from heaven’s hand Through it’s gate I’ve found the promise land ~*~ A place of untold mercies and the golden dream Where the crystal waters of serenity gleam To it’s gift I’ll forever be indebted Where faces of the past are finally silhouetted ~*~ At long last I view reflection without hesitation Embracing the discovery free of reservation Look into my eyes and view it’s winged dream The breath taking discovery of....self esteem |

I always knew ... when you were able to see the ~you~ I do ... that like me ... you too, would love the view. You are a beautiful butterfly ... inside and out ... you always have been ... it was just a little to dark in that cocoon love ya me girlie oh you speak to me in riddles |

BDC, Wonderful writing my friend. I see a strong new butterfly emerging and she is beautiful. So good to see you writing with such style. ~HUGS~ LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Holly~ You truly are a marvelous butterfly, my friend, I'm so glad that you finally realized how beautiful you are! This brought me to tears because I know this struggle very well, it's still something that I have yet to find a happy ending to. Your writing and expression just keeps getting better and better, as always I am in awe of your emotion and honesty. This poem touched me very deeply, thank you for sharing this piece of your soul with us. Angel hugs to you!~ Take care, Melissa~ |

"The journey was true and never misguided My hunger for completeness at last requited Like absolution from heaven’s hand Through it’s gate I’ve found the promise land" "A place of untold mercies and the golden dream Where the crystal waters of serenity gleam To it’s gift I’ll forever be indebted Where faces of the past are finally silhouetted" Oh Butterflies ... what a marvelous journey of self discovery this was! Excellent writing in both form and the wonderful inspiration you've drawn into the conclusion, just beautiful! Best wishes, /Kit |
