I have A Dream

When I look at myself in the mirror,
what I see is a little girl, scared and confused,
so lonesome and hurt. A girl who've been through things. Things she migth have forgotten, but they're still there..

I always bug myself whit what I should've done different,the mistakes I've made, the choises I've taken. Always think of how my life could've been..

I can't allow myself to trust, to care
I can't allow myself to need, to love
I want to be strong, I want to survive,
to stand up all alone, to make it on my own..

Yet I have this dream,
that my life was different,
that I had someone to love and trust
Someone who cared for me,
Someone who wanted to help me.
A person who loved me.

Oh, Im no easy person
I may be young, but still Im wise..
I may have courage, but still Im frigthned..
I may be strong, but still Im weeping..
I may act cool, but inside Im screaming..
I may be brave, but still Im stumbling..

..And I feel so very alone..
