This all means nothing
And nothing is real
I can’t help myself

This is how I feel

Most of the time
I’m like some kind of ghost
And sometimes I take pleasure
In things that hurt me most
And sometimes I feel I’m drowning
Choking on my bitter tears
Or clawing at the one thing
Ringing in my ears
I’ll take anything I can
Time never seems to heal
The pain, this wounding pain

This is how I feel

They still keep taunting me
Numb my hurting head
I’m lost and all alone
You’ve left me for dead
Sometimes I can protect myself
Until the embracing dawn
Or lose control
From the one thing hanging on
You can paint me in a corner
Lock me up, throw away the key
You still just don’t get it

This is how I feel

Hmmmm....wow...I really like the raw honesty here. As always you journey me through darkness...and as always, I enjoyed the ride!

I always say, we are our own worst enemy
this is a very impact and emotive write

tis never easy being a moth,
tis not easy being the flame.
what some never see is--

So much pain and agony, penned so perfectly.
I will say that you made me feel with your words PK.
Wonderful job here!

I have been at that place more times than I would like to admit.  You have penned it so well. Great write
