Furrows Inscribed
(At Dusk with Stephanie)

At jetty's edge
an amber glow
buoyant upon the
softening roll
of a calming sea
And hands peeling slowly
a blanket's cover
bare breast painted
with honey and wine
budding sweetness
a canvas for whetted lips
No thought for shame
wanton eyes imbibed
the hover of a shadow
spilling deep inside
Furrows in the sand
a quickened imprint
of a touch inscribed
upon the pages of
yesterday's souls.

Beautiful, but I blush at the pictures this paints in my "old" mind.  ME
