A daisy chain I made
While I sat here in the grass
The sun was shining so brightly
And the lake looked just like glass

I lay myself down amongst the cool, thick grass
And gazed up into the sky
Just in time to see a flock of birds
As they flew majestically across the sky

I then lowered my gaze to the flowers
I saw bees and butterflies there
They take the pollen from each and every flower
And go through life without much of a care

How I love spending time near the water
A place to be at one with my thoughts
Where nature's display is at its finest
On a day when I'm feeling out of sorts

So I sit and admire all of this beauty
No painting could do justice you see
And next time I'll come back to this paradise
Where all of the worries of the world leave me

Sue:  There is such therapy in nature and this is beautifully expressed in your poem!

I sent you an e-mail yesterday, but today I was told it was not deliverable.  Sorry!
I really enjoyed hearing from you.

Know the feeling. Same overhere, when I go fishing in a nearby creek and watch nature awakening. Great.
