Straight Line

in all my shortcomings
in all that I am
is the knowledge
of understanding
shoulder to shoulder
is where we stand
I write your words
you write mine
a song of melody
sung in harmony
danced in a straight line

"...the rest is silence" (Hamlet)       Shakespeare

I think one of the things I strive for in my life is for others to understand my own shortcomings, thanks for this one, Helen.

I fall short again and again, but always strive to improve myself, to walk in that "straight line" when speak about.  Thank you.

Love your name:-)
what makes you sure it is such a straight line?

Is this kind of like 'straight line dancing'?  Loved the hope and lightness of this!
