Navajo Taco Through a road of sun, the car spun, temperature, one hundred and one A desert drive, a hot survive, the car sped brisk at eighty-five. The sage lie shy, a cloudless sky and even the water tasted dry. When a blue sign appeared instructing a restaurant was near. We stopped the car; glad and sad, we were not sure the food they had. But we read the menu of foreign brew where all was new to this tourist crew. A Navajo taco, dough of folklore, with ingredient never tasted before This we ate without the slightest relent, without a thought of future event. Onward we drove to grand canyons high and stood in the awe of its lie And there in the wind flew buzzards galore, ridding the currents upwind. And we filled our souls to the brim of content, with full measures of the event. Then quietly sort our hotels door to sleep and wait the next day rapport. But the Navajo taco took over my dream and placed me in a wonder of seem. From a tourist culture I became a black winged red neck turkey vulture. Riding a theme, of slips and streams, flying the grand canyons extremes. The height was horrendous, the flight tremendous and the site I’d say stupendous. Soared in awe, the depths of its floor, near cliffs of red and mountains snow head And saw with new rue, new hue and new view, the blue and majesty of new. Now I take pride in this buzzards ride, this bird I once thought of having no pride. It has brought me from blind, taught me a find, a lesson of kind, a lesson of mind. And I am grateful this taco supreme, it had granted me a Navajo dream. |

I had to smile at the title, Seymour... just this past Saturday, I lunched on a taco made with Navajo bread. I'm so glad your meal sent you soaring in your dreams... and that you shared your journey with us. *S* Well done! |

Enjoyed this! Hope the effects of that taco wore off quickly. And serenity, Indian Frybread is wonderful with a little powdered sugar... |
