All Because of You

In the past year my life has changed
Like a child I learned so many new things
exploring places I have never been
Unlocking doors of forgotten emotions
All because of you.

My eyes had been clouded for so long
bitterness filled my entire being
Now sunlight sparkles upon my face
Warmth returns into this frigid body
All because of you

I had stopped believing in Love
Dreams were just distance memories
Looking in your eyes all my fears vanish
Prosperity now fills my life
All because of you

As I lay my body next to yours
No longer worrying of being alone
My heart sighs with such joy
This lost soul finally found tranquility
All because of you
Because of you I write this. For our first Anniversary together.

Happy Anniversary, kitkat. I've not seen you here for awhile. Is it the direction I've been looking or the direction you've been taking?
