Empty Wine glass, etched with hearts meant to toast love empty-gathering dust. Queen size bed, lace edged, satin touched waiting for a prince his side is empty. Heart of love, once so full with hopeful dreams and passions fire empty though oddly, it still beats. all of me empty without him... |

Staggering in lost love, your words so clearly exploit the pain. Very Good! Coal |

Though oddly, it still beats. How surprising it is when we find our hearts beating alone in the emptiness. Enjoyed. |

Hey lady! (been awhile, but I'm still hanging around!) Sad, but loved your comparisons...but there's hope--you cannot fill a thing that's full, yes? YES. HUGS. Hope you are well! |

Your writing brings out the sadness of the words and the pain and loneliness. Yes, his side of the queen size bed may be empty, but hopefully you will find someone new and you will feel better. |

Sandra, The desolation of feeling "empty" leaves our hearts in such turmoil and angst, which you have captured so perfectly and sadly, beautifully in this piece. Love, Elise |

I know this feeling well Sandra, this is well written and well told. . . thank you. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
