This Day

Today I will take one word
          And thus make it sing;

               Today I will free one bird
                         And help give it wing;

Today I will smile at you
          And allow you to be;

               Today I will laugh with you
                         And pray you laugh with me.

Today I will cherish all things
          Just because they are here;

               Today I will give of myself,
                         Because I hold me dear;

Today I will face my fear
          And fly straight in its face;

               Today I will hold you close
                         And be nourished from your embrace.

               Today I will do, and be, my best
               And know if I fail, I tried, the test.

               Then tomorrow, I will begin again.

Today is always the most important day. We cannot change yesterday or predict tomorrow..today is the day that counts. This is very nice writing, Sunshine..

Thank you all. I wrote this on the 7th anniversary of my mother's passing...

it means a lot to me.

Some of you see that.
