than nothing...

Was you atuned
to gentle whisperings

more than nothing,
was your tender humility

gladly accepting
these empty hands
in exchange for a brimming
heart

I recall when the sun
rose only for you
because of you,
heaven existed on earth

so much more

Is a love that
continues in desperate
silence

memories, though hazy
