There is a house in western Russell County, no one will die there, for in the dust and rotting timbers, lay remants of a past gone by. Rock posts standing as silent sentinels above the Smoky Hill, in the distance, oil and grease rise as sweat on concrete trails to destinations yet unknown, leaving behind crumbling foundations of long agoes beneath blue Kansas sky, across a dry and barren land, a wind still heard, whispers, for in the past, one cannot die.
