Many pieces of my fractured self Lie like leaves upon the ground And though I place my dreams on the shelf My hopes still keep hanging around It feels too real to realize That life has passed before my eyes The stifling, remorseless grip of life And the timeless mental test Only the sky which has no height Or what used to be my best It took a lifetime of resistance to see My best, again, will never be |

So many of us have days that we feel beaten down, perhaps this is just a Bluesday instead of simply being a Monday... but I concur, never say ...never... |
