On A Quest To Believing

Something tells me you've vanished like dust in the wind
So, I've been trying to hold faith by it's hands
I'm hoping reality never takes a great hold on me
For truth just stares at me from where I stand...

I'm on a journey to remember how it feels to fly
Because one fine night I owned the skies
I have to remember when life meant just me and you
I'm on a quest to believing you miss me, too...

I just have to believe I still soar in your heart
I just have to be somewhere other than gone
So, I'm searching, I am, for nighttime's face
And, I hope I've touched your heart all along...

I'm on a quest to believing you still sleep with me
That every neon moon it's my heart you see
I can't be forgotten when the rainbows stretch far and wide
I must believe I'm still found there behind your eyes...

Oh, every now and then I run at least a hundred miles
So easily in a moment I relive those years
I must believe you hold the stars with both of us in mind
Because a little life falls with every tear...

I'm on a quest to believe, I just have to believe
That I'm not alone beneath this cold lonesome rain
For I cannot live with even the smallest chance
That your heart just may not feel the same...

Have you ever known the color grey when the nighttime finds you weak
I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps

Saunni~
This is emotively heartfelt ~

'I'm on a quest to believe, I just have to believe'

I pray your quest takes you where you want it to ...
and if not ... that you find serenity waiting.
*Hugs*

As I read this I could imagine this person sitting under the stars and whispering this poem to the stars.. Lovely *sighs*

You got to get up every morning with a smile on your face
and show the world all the love in your heart
Then people are gonna treat
