I ramble in my mind, pieces of something Does the runner in you trot on solid ground or merely run in place on sinking sand do you fear the dark of yourself, or it a simple manner for which you have come to accept a different love, a different feeling, different I grow from the wounds of desire and reach for a shadow that doesn’t follow me, yet plays hide and seek I wanted happiness in my life a room of sunshine, but have failed in the storms of passing times that lay heavy upon my heart I have loved you for so long that I can hear you breathing from here and when your eyes close mine close as well I am too young to feel this tired and too old to start over but my spirit in its humble light offers me some kind of hope I look back upon yesterday and all I see is the five year old that skinned her knee and cried when the bandage was removed I feel safer knowing that one day my soul will pass through yours and once again I will know comfort [This message has been edited by Greeneyes (edited 05-12-2001).] |

I am not quite sure how to comment on this one, as I feel "you" are to young to feel that old for sure, and and you are "never" too old to start again, I have done it 3 times. But...I also hear the hope that your gentle spirit will find a place to reconcile until two hearts and spirits meld as one. I loved this poem as the emotion you conveyed I am sure many can identify with, great job! ~*~ I write ~ Therefore I am ~*~ |

do you fear the dark of yourself, or it a simple manner for which you have come to accept ====================== I grow from the wounds of desire and reach for a shadow that doesn’t follow me, ============================ but have failed in the storms of passing times that lay heavy upon my heart I have loved you for so long that I can hear you breathing from here and when your eyes close mine close as well I am too young to feel this tired and too old to start over but my spirit in its humble light offers me some kind of hope ============================ I feel safer knowing that one day my soul will pass through yours and once again I will know comfort ===================================== you havent failed anything or anyone.. youre right where you need be...right where you should be... its all part of a process, stages of growth the rest comes with time, and healing, and writing... I felt every line of this beautiful flowing sincere emote as if written on my skin... for sure..engraved on my heart me she grabs her magazines she packs her things and she goes she leaves the pictures hanging on the wall, she burns all her notes and she knows ... she's been here too few years to feel this old ~MB20~ Did you make it to the Milky Way, |

Lauren, we are never to old to learn or to old to grow......with time all things are as they should be. May your heart be filled with peace dear friend. On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free. |
