~Pure joy~

as I watch your eyes

~Sparkling~

as you jog up to plate

~Confident~

as you flash me that grin

~Connection~

as you swing through the hit

~Racing~

as you cross bases

~Joy~

as you slide home

~Finally~

as you believe in you

I believe this is one of the poems that I have saved. Great to read it again, Kel...

Nothing to match a parent's pride, as a child grows in a single glowing moment.

Someday, I hope to be able to say the same about my own children when I have any.  And I hope that I'll be just as proud.

Wonderful poem.
