The Japanese Garden The tender crush of gravel throngs Sighs and whispers down long paths And round a pool that waits within A cool, green basin. Bamboo bathes there as a rule Narrowly revealing views of smooth, pale limbs Whose slender leaves giggle shyly With the breeze. RMW |
