The Japanese Garden

The tender crush
     of gravel throngs
Sighs and whispers
     down long paths
And round a pool
     that waits within
A cool, green basin.

Bamboo bathes there
     as a rule
Narrowly revealing views
     of smooth, pale limbs
Whose slender leaves
     giggle shyly
With the breeze.

Fantastic, RMW!! Just fantastic!  I can almost see and hear the panda off aways munching on bamboo beside this quiet, gentle pool!  Lovely imaging!

I shall have to echo the others before me.  This is stunning.  The ending, especially.  My compliments, Bob!

The reflecting pool,
So serene within bamboo
Gravel walk to rest.
Winds gentle yet blowing cool
Spring flowers begin to go.
