When I close my eyes
I can still feel your touch,
the feel of your breath
upon my skin.
When I close my eyes
I can hear the soft sigh
of your breathing as you rest.
When I close my eyes
I can see the twinkling pools
of blue in your eyes.
I can hear the softness of your
voice whispering of our
passion in my ear.
When I close my eyes
my heart aches for you
a little more with each passing
moment of time.
When I close my eyes
I can still feel you here
in my soul........
and my spirit flys
for having known you.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.

Thank you all for your thoughts and I would leave you today these few words that I find such inspiration in.........

this is beautiful but perhaps too vague, I would love to read it in specific detail...
why does your heart ache? your spirit flying for knowing this person sounds
like he died, I enjoyed, just couldn't help a big of critique

There are to many questions that can't be answered for him right now......it is a longing of missing him and knowing that I am better because of knowing him. When I wrote this I wasn't sure if he would continue to be a part of my life, and he wasn't sure of where his life would leave him. I am always open to critique.
