You make my heart bleed
a thousand words of love
that can never fall
from my trembling lips

You make my passion
bubble up and rush
to the surface of my soul
all the while
in restraint

You make my body
wish for your touch
that even as I ache with want
the barrier is felt

You make the needs of my soul
surface from their depths
as each wave of unrequited emotions
washes them away................

"unrequited" is a word which is so powerful..... this is a powerful piece and ....all i can say is this...

.... nobody can be put on hold....

contrary to popular belief, if it isn't given back????? why keep giving it???

and as some very not-well-known-poet said (moi)....

but if it ain't returned,maybe that's not what it is??? *sigh*

you made me think on this one... thanks for the read, miss Poet... ( oh, and btw, i don't capitalize the Poet word for just anybody)

and i don't just *wink* at just anybody either, btw..... for what THAT'S worth...
