Living with myself is getting unbearable
Words of wisdom I had ignored
While youth flowed through me
Like a raging river detoured
So much simpler then;
The days were all brand new
So many chances, so many turns
From what I thought I’d pursue
Scary how fast it all went
This is no way to live
Can’t keep offering myself anymore
For I have nothing left to give

You're only dead when you're dead.
Till then give me a chance to enjoy your poetry. You can't let me down now PK, 'cause I still have a lot to learn from you.
Bad moment?

Not true... for your words touch others who're disappointed with their decisions and feeling empty... Well done!

SEA - Thank you, but you are amazing. You are the wo-man! LOL

Titia - Take all the chances you need...thanks. Bad moment yes, but then it goes. Then it comes back. Then it goes. LOL

Suthern - Glad you feel that way, that is so nice, thank you.

Yes, where did all those simpler times go?

"Words of wisdom I had ignored
While youth flowed through me"

If only I would of heeded some of the advice I was given in my youth.
At least you have your poetry to share with us. Thank you!

there's always more PK. . . I've learned that. . .

a good look at the things that we might have done. . . and the things that we are doing. . .
