In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2001-05-09 12:45 PM

I wish I could have
you one more day
to stand face
to face, and say
that I love you
seeing the world
with in each dream,
Recalling times
I just held you
wrapped with in
your blue stare,
It wouldn't matter
how hard I tried
sometimes my eyes
can only cry
Echoes of You
You,  my souls
base for hidden
canyons within my heart,
a calming, yet rippling
waters of the lake,
precious memories of
the golden star that sets
the eastern skies, and
the everlasting arrival
of my dawns
Your smile haunts
my dark hours,
your voice I hear in
the wind, knowing
my want is playing me
again
Your careless laughter
fills my air, a sweet symphony
like raindrops on my face
When I look to the skies,
my sigh can only breathe  a
Thunder of each
passionate good-bye,
as it rings through night
air and becomes

Echoes of You

Lauren,
this is done with all the grace and beauty that accompanies every piece that you write!
It's poignant in it's sense of loss, but strong in it's grasp of how love surrounds us throughout Nature herself.  You are genius here, and I applaud you!

Live...Love...Be grateful for both!!

I cant pick JUST a few lines of this
I CANT!!......
I felt every word...every whisper and sigh of longing...
and now its engraved on my soul like a beautiful secret...
Your "stir of echos" spoke volumes of your heart and it touches ours
Thank you for that sweet poet

A fantastic poem that reverberates a "thunderous" longing.  Well done.
