Apples
by Robin Spiteri.

What's not to like about the apple?
It's a natural work of art!
It's green and red and golden
it's used in pies and tarts,
the skin? you can remove it,
the seeds? just throw away.
All you have to keep in mind
is to eat one, once a day.
It's flesh is crisp and juicy,
you can suck it nice n' dry.
It's cradle is the fortress you climbed into the sky.
In times of stress a weapon,
protection from your foes.
Those unforgiving people, NOW learn some apple woes!

apple pie and cool whip....that's the best part, if only Eve had an oven, we could all be in a different world right now..............
