Feeling deflated...
not knowing that she has
all but sealed her fate.

What more can she say?
She makes her appeals,
He has all but drove the last
nail in.

How she wanted to experience the
tenderness and softness of what
could be shared together.
How she counted the days they were
to finally be together...
now to late.

They can't can hold on, what she holds
very dear to her. She makes her pleas...
Please give trust one more chance.

the box...
It is so dark, so very dark.
A life without you, not being able to talk,
give you my passion that I've held so to give
to you - now outreaching to open space.

Don't let us go...
With care I will give to you..
   BANG!!!
The last nail - no chance...
to late - the final kudo has just been driven.
He gave his all - for a fool she was,
he wants nothing of her to remember her by.

She pleads...mercy and forgiveness...to unanswered
calls...

What can I say..give us a chance
I am but lost without you.

I would call this quite out the box...and? I encourage you gently, as I must wonder at the source of your inspiration? Now, if you'll pardon me? I do believe I hear "Suzie Q" on the radio, and I, being me, find it impossible to sit here without at least one DECENT pelvic thrust...YWEOOOOOWWWW!!!!!

~~Long overdue thank you's~~~

PoemCrazy~~ I agree it was no fun, but I've learned to smile again and to enjoy life and love.

~~serenity~~ Hormones....at 49 - something I had to do. enjoyed your comments - always.

~~inot2B~~ so true, so true! getting rid of excess baggage and bodyweight does wonders for the soul. Thank you for your kind words-from another Texan.

~~WhiteOnyx~~Thank you, cleansing one soul does wonders.

~~Greeneyes~~~Lauren~~ peace dove, and so very poetic. Your poems are an inspiration and I agree with your signature. Thank you!

~~Charisma~~ Your kind words speak so true. Thank you for reading it.

It has been said that women moods can change quite often and to frequently to suit their needs. We can change our hair color; go buy a new wardrobe; eat chocolate;or just plain give up.  My poem was doing the rash of it all.

To two special people - I owe my profound respect and heartfelt thank you's.  You know who you are --- The "M" you know is very grateful.

my box is very dangerous
so don't be unaware!
you just might think it's kitty litter,
but it's not! BEWARE!

some may try to nail it shut,
but they will not succeed --
all such attempts to keep it closed
are futile tries, indeed!

i've told you all a million times
at least (or maybe ten)
please be on gaurd, pandora's box
holds evils, and my pen
repeats these words so all will know
there's some things which i swear,
that people should stay clear of...
like pandora's box! BEWARE!

hehe

thanks for the inspiration! good poem! enjoyed!

meeeeeooooowwwtahere!

and remember......

beware pandora's box...

Oh yes I remember these times and experiences very well...as if it were just yesterday...and sometimes it seems like it is always just yesterday...in my case the pain drives me away and I reach a point where I will take no more...or is it I cannot take any more...so...James
