A meadow filled with wildflowers guarded by angel wings a forest sanctuary where every robin sings a man in wrinkled clothes, leathered hands that clutch his heart a woman with a bag, lost eyes knowing someone had torn them apart Unicorns, starshines and borealis all the things we'll never explain reasons and rhyme and those coming at us and bitter, sweet summer rain. Jazz, the blues and rock and roll it's eleven before the last chime silence along the beach and the knoll and a million stars that shine Beginnings and endings and all in-betweens the seasons, the plays and the songs a new journal entry; surreal though it seems and you wonder where do you belong? Ponytails, braids and fresh lipstick outshining the next blushing rose find the good and the bad; bring them here and live on through your words and your prose. Kay Let no one who loves be called unhappy. Even love unreturned has its rainbow." ~James M. Barrie~ [This message has been edited by Kay (edited 05-06-2001).] |
