Come Touch Me by Michael Come cry with me, come whisper free Come share the building blocks of mind Come know the love you've yet to find And all the happiness to be Come share with me my many dreams And art of beauty yet unborn The heart you see is still unworn And in it wonders still reside So many years, so many tears So many laughs to be unleashed And echo through your tenderness Your voice to me is like a kiss Come feed my mind and feed my heart It isn't fair to be apart And feel the turmoil build within To me you're much more than a friend Much more in fact if it be known You've helped me grow and now I'm grown You've touched me in so many ways And many ways are still to touch Though fate may rob us of our sleep Might lend a helping hand in time For now, we live our lives in rhyme And hold back tears we were to weep Though unexplored our dreams are yet I'll love and hold you in my heart And kiss you with my words, my art And I will long for so much more Proust- |

Michael~ The tenderness of your heart is so refreshingly exposed through gentle writes such as this. Remarkable, poet. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Helen, Thanks for the "utterly beautiful" and for reading this. Joyce, "to die for" is so sweet. Thank you. Magnolia, Thank you, my friend. Kathleen, I wrote this many years ago and decided to revive it. Glad you liked it. Thanks Walker, You're always so kind in your posts and very generous with your praise of my work. I just want you to know how much I appreciate it. Thank you. Lauren, Thanks for "loving" this and for your friendship. Martie, Love is always tender, as it must be. Thank you, my friend. Julian, As it must in order to speak honestly of feelings. Thank you, my friend. Marge, What a very sweet thing to say, my friend. Thank you so much. Proust- |
