When we make love, the gates will open wide To treasures I had never come to know And I will live with happiness inside Delighting in the richness of your glow. When we make love, all pain will disappear Erased by all the joy you make me feel. Our day of blissful joy is drawing near To taste the nectar our love will reveal. When we make love, our hearts and souls will blend As essences now mingled into one. Toward Heaven's path my spirit will ascend To harvest golden apples of the sun. Should fate decree we'll not taste passion's thrill Rest easy knowing I will love you still. |

Nice to see you Balladeer. Sounds like you're speaking of someone you have never met. MmmmMm someone on the net perhaps? (grin).. I posted something a few days ago.... would enjoy your thoughts on it. and. p.s. Anticipation of the sweetest kind is waiting to be in your lover's arms. (i agree) |

"Should fate decree we'll not taste passion's thrill Rest easy knowing I will love you still." What a beautifully lyrical and melodic flow to this tender piece Michael. The rhyme scheme is absolutely lovely, and the sentiments ... ah, the sentiments .... simply wonderful. 'Tis a gem. Best wishes, /Kit |

Wow....I take a five minute break at [check the hour, I'm CST...] to see what I've missed... and get a royal treat! I keep trying to write sonnets, but always...come up short. I think I need to try just a little harder.... this is wonderful, 'Deer. Well done! |

OhI wish that I could hear it, however the ear of my mind will hear it whispering on the breeze. S' Wonderful Deer. A cornucopia of emotion. My cup runneth over. And the line about the golden apples,... superb. Keth Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. [This message has been edited by Kethry (edited 05-05-2001).] |
