In a ball I found my love.
When I catch it my heart fills with joy.
When I bat I feel the force.
When I run the bases I feel strong.
I love baseball that's my game.
I earned patches in my league.
And I plan to go to baseball summer league.
I like baseball that's my game.

Very nice poem walker jr. Ask your mom to get you your own poet name so we'll know what to call you. I really liked your poem, used to play baseball myself, loved it, too!

Walker, Jr.....I REALLY like your poem. Baseball is such a wonderful game. I have three sons, and a daughter. We all love baseball. Two of my sons are pitchers. One pitched professionally. And it all started...with loving the game....and the rosin bag. Hang in there. Maybe someday you will have your own baseball card too. Bob

Walker, Jr. I am so very pleased to see and read your poem. You are going to be not only a good baseball player, but a promising poet. I hope to see more of poems. Baseball is the greatest. Thank you for thinking of us who always need the sound of a young voice.

A rookie baseball player and a budding poet. You have a good start in life. I like baseball too, but only to watch. Have you heard of the Mariners? They are from my state of Washington and we are all very proud of them. Good luck to you in Little League. Love, Joyce
