Searching for the plane….. In the shadow of this purple summer's night I sense your touch, feel your breath light, thus comes to me your calming memory, your love I hold so close to me… it was a night, such as this when I held fast to your last kiss stroked your brow, held your hand and felt my heart in pain expand… this space so void, this chasm so black only in memory do I have you back, two crystal goblets of wine I pour, to drink to your memory ever more… and as I taste this wine, bitter sweet, the night's summer warmness is replete and gently into its blackness I will fall as I search for you in the crimson pall for although your body is not near mine I feel you there … through space and time, there, on a plane, a yet unknown mystery where your love I long for, to hold to me… this quest, a life's long pursuit to not be denied to re-find your love, again be entwined and I will search, tho tears make eyes blind there, on that plane that is as transparent as time ©Karilea Rilling Jungel 8 July 2000 |

Whew....oldies are goodies. You can keep posting these all night long Sunshine. for although your body is not near mine I feel you there … through space and time, there, on a plane, a yet unknown mystery where your love I long for, to hold to me… lookout Sun, you're making the guys swoon now. *L* I liked this stanza a little bit more than the rest, it strikes me somehow. |

Sunshine, I never saw this one first time round and I'm glad you give us the chance to see it again and what Doreen has highlighted in quote from your poem truly is exquisite... Thank you for an enjoyable read |

"for although your body is not near mine I feel you there … through space and time, there, on a plane, a yet unknown mystery where your love I long for, to hold to me…" . It's amazing how love can keep one connected through space and time. The whole piece is wonderfully and I'm glad you reposted it! The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up |

Coco...Ethome....my little bumper-uppers...thank you for bringing this up from the back pages. I reposted it because it is truly one of my favorite pieces, but the reason why is somewhere out there on the planes.... |

Based on your last reply to us Sunshine.......... When I expose my feelings something inside of me tells me I won't be the same. I read the morning news I get the longing blues too many thoughts I can't explain. Give me good news where can it take me what can it do for me to make me a man. The worst won't break me but never escape me the rest can heal me and I can heal the rest. When I see a moonbeam above a silent stream like a vision in the night, I see the wisdom I see the everything I see the only peace in sight. It's there I get thinking what makes it all so bold when you're living the gift of life those precious times glow Lord I'd like to know where I'm going by good-bye. Give me good news where can it take me what can it do for me to make me a man the worst won't break me never escape me the rest can heal me I can heal the rest. And if I stayed there I'd never get anywhere but I can come back in time. It's in that moonbeam it's in that silent stream it's in the reason there's a why. © Eric True Out there on the planes it's in the reason there's a why! |
