The tourists, they flock in their thousands To visit the city of Rome For many, a place for a holiday For many, the place they call home I meander down the alleyways Past ancient buildings left and right Oh, how this beautiful city Comes so alive with the ensuing night On the Spanish Steps I'll be waiting For my lover to come into view Every day that we spend together Always feels like this love is brand new I see you as you walk towards me A bunch of flowers you have in your hand So eager am I to see you That I begin to rise up and stand My smile I can contain no longer The minute I see your face Finally we are standing together As we lose ourselves in a passionate embrace The steady flow of water From the Trevi Fountain down below As you search your pocket for a coin And into the fountain you do throw We make a wish together We wish for endless love We wish for lots of happiness From the heavens above The aroma of espresso coffee Beckons us to the nearest cafe A place where so many come To spend an important part of their day It's time now for us to leave here A reservation for two you have made As we walk to our next destination The light of the day begins to fade The aromas of oil and garlic Welcome us as we walk through the door The owner comes over to greet us It's like he's seen us here before A quaint table awaits in the corner The place where we'll spend the night We'll hold hands across the table And glance at each other through the candelight Then we'll stroll under the lamplight Two hearts beating in time Never will there be much distance Between your heart and mine Suetang |

Well, I just left Moscow, now I'm in Rome, who says the Internet is boring! I love it. Kathleen Blake |
