Dark Clouds
Virginia Salter

dark clouds
all cracked up with sun
gilt-edged jigsaw pieces
hovering in northeastern sky
Old Sol blasts through
barging in...
“It’s morning!  Go forth!”

Why does the sunlight of morning have to intrude upon the peaceful, solitude of our personal clouds?

Oh, JLR, I know!  But, but, but this was so absolutely beautiful, I wouldn't have missed it for the world.  And those clouds, they really did looked 'cracked up' in gilt edges against the dark, dark gray.
