The hours between night and day, those hours, I played lady of the night star-breathed passions bloomed. I played the finely rigged patrol line on the other side of this age where flames burst at noon. Fire in the sun jasmine. Was I that blossom caught in your rich voice? Riding shadows of conquering air, those hour between night and day my neck became a petition. Graphics: Jim Warren Fountain of Youth "I am not now that which I have been." |

Oh my! Click Julian Lester...and there it was...Wow! I was not expecting this senual piece but what a delightful one it was, and of course my favorite line was the last. One of your best in my mind! I loved this one, and the art complimented it beautifully. Please visit me at my new homepage: |

very very sensual and what an absolute delight. I love the romantic poems and you penned it so very well. Loved the line: Fire in the sun jasmine. Was I that blossom caught in your rich voice? WOW!!!!! Aloha with warmest regards, Koko |

wonderful Julian. . . quiet with just that subtle touch. . . ----------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Thank you all for such generous comments. Re-reading this poem; however, proves to me that I truly do not normally write love poems, and in all truth, probably should not delve into a genre that has wonderful voices such as yourselves. "I am not now that which I have been." |
