Who Shall Defend? |

You have watched them orbit, streets filled with one dim flare, hungry as Tiger sharks stalking ever-ignorant blind, deaf prey. Acid rain falls into a witch’s brew of rumored lies where boils a newt of eye, savored pain, anguish and deceit. In days of old a letter worn by those who knew not truth forewarned all of words that hurt and actions from the pit. So answer now a question dear, who shall fight and defend, who molds the lone silver bullet, who holds a wooden stake? "I am not now that which I have been." |

WOW That powerfully drives the point home! The last stanza did clinch the whole point of this poem. Give gossip and unkindness the silver bullet! Excellent work! Aloha with warmest regards, Koko |
