Another gets some credit unwittingly besides my muse for we both trod on the same points unbeknownst to one another today. I was told 'give me no credit' but I could not so post without a hint "What's in a name" said Shakespeare "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" Yet I must dispel this fallacy For no other name is as musical No other name but yours cries love To my wounded heart To hear your name conjures Blossom bursting from bud In garden explosion of color Would that these few words Were enough to cover the love You inspire, That I could be silent And give myself To the quiet adoration of a kiss Simply murmur with butterfly eyelashes Give myself over to your ardent lips For even as we speak It is all I know how to do The first duty of love is to listen. |

i know a couple o names like that... beautifully composed...i love the imagery. so many colors came to mind... but the last few lines were the vivid ones... i dig it "Many great relationships start or end in a bar. |

You weave these words so well, drawing us in and pouring on the love. Cor |

Thank you all - you're much too kind - I can only say - I'm most grateful - that my muse - delivers words that sustain me and add to the pleasure you find |
