I sit here in amazement, As you head for the door, Our newborn son is crying, But you don't love me anymore, ....and so you go. I live here in this agony, As the night falls on my skin, Our wedding day was beautiful, But I have changed since then, ....and so I cry. Your son, he looks just like you, And he'll never understand, Just why you didn't love him, Placing his world is in your hands, ....and still your gone. My love, I still miss you, Even though you walked away, But missing isn't loving, So I won't beg you to stay, ....and so you go. |

Wow!!! I'm glad I don't need much sleep to survive, otherwise I'd missed your poem. Are you sure he left you at all, maybe he misunderstood how she could find you, if at all? LP [This message has been edited by latin passion (edited 04-29-2001).] |

A man who would walk away from such sincerity and love is indeed a fool! Welcome to Passions. Kathleen Blake |

I felt this that may seem like a short bland reply but its a perfect response for how this poem hit me |

But missing isn't loving, So I won't beg you to stay,--- This is heartwrenching. Welcome to passions. As sad as this is...I like the attitude. Let him go. I agree. One baby is enough to take care of. |

A soft Welcome to Passions. I hope that, with a new son, you will find time now and again to refresh your soul by reading, and possibly writing, and enjoying what will hopefully become a new family of friends. Please, check your e-mail for a special message. Karilea |

Welcome to passions, this is very beautiful and lyrical in its sadness, but it has great strength. Pull up a chair stay a while and bask in the warmth of new found friends. Regards and take care, Olias. |
