How can she express her regret,
as harse words were exchanged.
For playing games were not her intent
as it's been perceived.

A cacoon is what you had in your hand
awaiting for it to be her turn.
But life played a cruel turn of events,
this she won't be born.

She could have been a beautiful butterfly,
awaiting to spread her wings.
So new to THIS work, her teacher knew it all, now what can she give in return?

She was never good with words you see,
must less write a poem.
This butterfly wants to see the world up high,
and fly so fancy free. No cares, no worries
or woes to strive, that life has thrown her way.

Emotions were running high that week, for
death carried two of her friends away.
She wasn't able to say goodbye, now she slowly withers.

He drops his hands to his side, not realizing that she hurting too.
So she curls up in her cacoon again,
being careful not to expose the hurt.

She didn't realize that click and send, that she'd be buried in the quicksand.

You see my friends, (I hope I can say)
She was not meant to be here with the
elite.
So how can she spread her wings,
for she was never--- born.

Thank you kind Bill, for your kind words. For I don't know what to say. I enjoy your poems as well, for the past couple of days.  I'm not sure how long I can write, for this was not a consideration. This is a special place for him, that this exceeded my expectations. Once again, I thank you, for this is all new to me. LP.

This butterfly was able to spread it's wings. With love and naturing, caring and feeding each day. They will survive. I thank for letting me share my thoughts and stories and poems with you. Love does conquer all.

Day in Day out...My love for you grows.
Without you, my life would be empty. So I hold my mustard seed of faith in us.
