On Rainy Days It’s always gonna rain some days when did the part of me change that expected sun every day I am grateful that it did there’s alot to be said for rainy days the light’s not so early in my window the heat’s not so consuming of my skin the realization doesn’t so quickly settle on you on rainy days I find I can sleep again |

as long as we have sleep. . . we will have dreams. . . wonderful. . . ------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Those last 5 lines are the best, I think they could even stand alone...of course then you wouldn't have the witnessing of the change in you and your outlook. But I just had to say how much I enjoyed those lines, especially! |

JLR~ Rainy days make either great hibernation moments~ OR Puddle-jumping joy ! I've taken the time to enjoy both ! Nicely written thoughts. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
