with the ability to captivate any butterfly’s heart,
the inferno of red made its way across my view...
swept my heart away...blasted the melody of a thousand hues,
giving my world a million more reasons to keep spinning...

blazing its path straight through my eyes to my soul,
it found you, lying within the marigold glimpses...
preparing to make its esteemed appearance, just minutes away,
the makings of a fiery masterpiece lay within my reach...

waiting patiently for its chance to be revealed,
the endurance of inspiration put my anxious tongue to shame...
between the clouds of ardor you remain in wait,
sharing with me the revelation of a hundred lifetimes...

as the haze further proclaims the sunset;
like a rainbow across the listlessness of my wits...
with the fury of a summer storm...your touch finishes
what was started with your first look into my eyes...

-kh 04/25/01

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...

Im thinkin the teach is gonna say "yeppers"

Though my soul may sit in darkness,
It will arise in perfect light.
For I have loved the stars too fondly ...
To be fearful of the night.

Secret Whisper:  wow...thank you so much for that wonderful reply!  that means a lot to me!  I am glad you liked this!

JamesMichael:  why thank you, too!  it's great to know you enjoy my writing!

Marge:  thanks!  I am glad you enjoyed!

JM:  well, thank you, m'friend...I hope this is good because it has to take the place of an actual picture...there was a fantastic sunset the other day, and, well, I missed it cuz I ran out of film... ...so, I decided that the only way to capture it now would be to write about it...so, hopefully the Teach gives me the 'yeppers,' love that extra credit, ya know??

Interloper:  thank you!  I am happy you liked this!
